Cathedral

The Cathedral of Modena has a three-aisle plan with no transept and a raised presbytery, as underneath is the crypt that holds the tomb of St. Geminianus. The three naves are separated by large round arches resting on composite pillars alternating with columns.

Terramara of Montale

Terramares are villages that arose in Emilia and the central area of the Po Valley around the middle of the 2nd millennium BC. In the open-air museum, a part of the village has been reconstructed with a moat, embankment and two houses furnished with pottery, utensils, weapons and clothes that faithfully reproduce the 3500-year-old originals

Figurine Museum

Palazzo Santa Margherita is an elegant building in the city, in which the Figurine Museum has been installed. It also houses other exhibition halls, but people come here mainly to search for small tiles to paste. In the large exhibition hall on the second floor sliding showcases display collections of figurines, ranging from the early 1800s to the present day. Collections that originated in France and others that originated not from a package to be bought at newsstands, but from a matchbox or other store products.
